I saw a number of familiar faces from my church family on Sunday afternoon. The planning committee could not have been more pleased with the turn-out. There were more than 300 people at the “175 Years of Faith and Family” picnic. I received a number of compliments on how lovely it was to enjoy the east lawn, the music and video system in the sanctuary, and the fellowship extended to all.
If you mowed the grass, prepared beef burgers, donated dollars, sang along, set up or cleaned up, took pictures, welcomed a citizen, or otherwise contributed to the August 11 event in any way.you are to be commended for a job well done. God is good!! When all was said and done, the net proceeds of more than $1100 were turned over to CYG to help them feed the hungry youth and do good deeds in the coming year.
Thank you again – Mary Larson and the all-church planning committee
Thank you, to all who helped move the stuff out of the new kitchen space and into various rooms around the church. Your help is greatly appreciated. It sounded like some fun was had by the participants from the rounds of laughter, with so many hands it took less than an hour.
